  1. Ha ha, this is the best news in my inbox always!! – If I could I would have them all and we could of course create an international collecton with Buddy and Bella as the mission impossible team taking on Palmerston and his criminal gangs! – love it.

    1. I’ll try to make one for Bella. I think I still have those photos you sent me of Bella for the post about her, so I can use that for reference.

You can actually take almost any photo of buildings and make them look like models. It’s called tilt shift and involves messing with blur gradients. Then you can run a filter to make straight lines and angles look slightly off, so they get that plastic molded look.

It works best if the photo is aerial or straight on, and it’s amazing when you know it’s a real photo of a city but your brain is insisting it’s a miniature model.

      1. oh man that would be amazing! – her ego would fill Grove park! on a different note I have been following a site that takes Fritz Langs Metropolis to a new level in Ai generated images- https://www.utropiia.com/ no felines as far as I can tell although I have contacted them and requested the addition of of a cat or 10.

      2. That’s awesome. A creative use for gen AI that supports a narrative, rather than floods the web with gross images of sexualized anime characters.

It reminds me of Rapture, the underwater Art Deco utopian city from Bioshock, which itself was inspired by Metropolis and Atlas Shrugged. (A cynical take on both.)

Also, stuff like this that imagines modern movies as films made in the 1950s using genAI:

    1. I’m really sorry Junetta, they’re not real. Just a joke about my cat’s ego, I’m afraid. But I am working on graphic t-shirts and stickers. Some feature Buddy and some are about cats in general. I’ll post them soon hopefully!
