Buddy prepares to become the new face of an iconic ad campaign.

Big things are happening within the Buddyverse, my friends, and to give you a taste of what’s to come, here’s a short audio clip of a new campaign featuring Buddy, who has signed a deal to become a beer spokesman. (Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but reports claim a significant sum of catnip and beer changed hands.)

Buddy’s deal involves four ad spots, which will be released over the coming weeks.

  3. I think I may have already commented but with my email, who knows? Sometimes I go to read it and it disappears! Like this morning! I had to go to my private email and fetch it and it disappeared on me twice! But I finally listened and it was awesome! Thanks Little Buddy! Spunkmeyer wants to know if you send beer to fans? He says if you do, he will become a fan! I told him that cats aren’t supposed to drink milk OR beer. He just sighs… And remembers that thankfully he is already a fan…

      Buddy fist bumps…er, paw bumps…Spunk.

      As for replicating the commercial, I wrote four mock ad spots for Buddy as The Most Interesting Cat back for a post in 2019 and didn’t imagine that I’d be able to recreate the audio.

      Hopefully the video does justice to the commercials.

        This needs to be the new commercial for some funky IPA out there. You know like. Downward Stretching Cat, Purrin’ Pale Ale, Smack the Dog’s Nose, or Push It Off the Table. 👍

      3. Sorry for the confusion. No video yet. I’m working on it. This is just a preview. I’m planning four spots.

        Haven’t decided what Buddy should sound like yet for the “I don’t always…but when I do…” part. His real voice sounds like a kitten or a baby, or Elmo lol.
