Look at all that fur! Bud could almost pass as a long haired cat if you only saw him laying down like this.
With our first 90-plus-degree days yesterday and today here in New York, a lot of that fur is going to end up on the floor, the couch and my bed if I don’t sneak in some brief brushing sessions when I can:

Yeah it’s been humid here as well, as you know. I didn’t use AC yesterday but turned it on today despite supposedly the same temp…humidity makes a huge difference.

Lots of nice gray fur, and my girl kitties are definitely interested! Spooky would like to ignore Buddy like she does her brothers, and Shelley would like to myrowl at him, smack him, and watch him run, like she does with each and every tomcat here!

I don’t know if he qualifies as a tomcat technically, since he got the snip haha. But yeah, he’d run from your Shelley if she smacked him.
