Happy Easter from the Easter Buddy! Bud and I wish our readers a happy, safe and relaxing Easter, socially distanced though it may be. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see a return to some semblance of normality later this year.
In the meantime, though, our little buddies have helped us get through these dark months, entertaining us and keeping us company through the initial wave of the pandemic, the lockdowns and the long winter.
Could you imagine the past year without your cats? We can’t. Make sure to thank your own little buddies for being there for you during this pandemic!
Wishing you and Buddy a Happy Easter, too. May you have many more years together. Each year with these cats is precious.

You’re absolutely right, Lavinia. Sometimes when Bud is trying my patience, I remind myself there will come a day when I’ll give almost anything to have him by my side again, screeching for treats. Happy Easter to you and your kitties.

No, I can’t imagine this pandemic without the screeching of the Starving Masses!

Cats really do have an extraordinary talent for making it look like they’re starving, even after wolfing down a meal.

Looks like Buddy has been “starving” a lot recently. Or maybe it’s just his winter coat?

Hey Lisa, good to hear from you. The photo in this post was taken probably two years ago, but Bud is more or less at his normal weight now. He’s been shedding a bit the last few weeks as the weather has gotten into the 60s. But he’s a cat, so yeah, he’s always “starving”!

Wishing you and Buddy a belated Easter — or an early Greek Orthodox Easter. I literally don’t know where I’d be without my furmily. 15 years ago or so I was this( ) far from living in my car. If I hadn’t had cats who needed me, I might have been very tempted to just pull the plug on my life.
