It’s a magical time of year when people spread cheer, give gifts, throw parties and generally act festive, often with the help of alcoholic beverages.
But Christmas, Hannukah and New Year’s aren’t just for humans! Felines are invited to join the festivities too. We found six kittens who look adorable wearing their ugly Christmas sweaters and asked them how their holidays are going so far:
Shadow
“‘Wear the sweater,’ she said. ‘It’ll look cute,’ she said. ‘People will love seeing you on our Christmas card!’ she said. I shall have my revenge soon enough.”
Bubbles
“I was told there would be snacks. If I don’t start seeing some Temptations soon, the claws are gonna come out!”
Creamy
“That eggnog stuff looks interesting. Pour a bowl for me, would you, human?”
Big Al
“They said I’d get coal in my stocking if I didn’t put the sweater on. Would Santa truly be so cruel?”
Timmy
“If you humans have to drink alcohol just to tolerate each other’s company, how do you think I feel? Crack out the catnip this instant!”
Nala
“I count 86 objects that could be swatted off that tree. You humans would do well to remember that.”
Pain In The Bud 
LOL!! I saw a cat online with hat that said Naughty. And the cats attacking Santa was hilarious. I tried putting a Christmas scarf on my cat just for a photo.BAD IDEA!!

Yeah we’ll have to settle for renderings and photos of other people’s more agreeable cats, ’cause no way in hell I’m getting an ugly Christmas sweater on Bud either.
Oh well. I’m just happy Bud is a good boy when it comes to leaving the tree alone.

Bella and Bertie simply ignore everything to do with Christmas and treat it all simply as another day. As long as there are treats, food and fuss then Christmas is perfect for them. I tried a Christmas collar on Bella one year, it lasted less than a day ( it was a safety release one of course and it got released somewhere on her travels. I take this as “no decorations on me I am already beautiful – why gild a lily?” 🙂

You’re very welcome. Hey, I’m on Epic Games and I noticed they’re giving away Sims stuff. Today it’s some sort of pet pack: cats, dogs, hamsters I think, etc.
They give away a free game every week, but during the holiday season they give away a new game every day. In addition to that, the Sims stuff is under the “giveaways” tab.

Funny, none of my cats have shown any interest in the christmas tree or any of the ornaments. I can’t figure it out, even the youngest of the tribe didn’t bat a single bauble?!

That’s a good thing, yeah? I have to say, as destructive as Bud can be, he’s a very good boy with the tree and stuff like that. Some people’s cats can’t be allowed anywhere near a tree, so I’m grateful it’s not an issue.
