Wordless Wednesday: The Adorable Tyrant And Emotional Support Buddy

After a gut punch of a week, I’m once again reminded of how fortunate I am to have the Budster.

Taken early Friday evening. No filters or meowscles added. Just Buddy laying back in my his chair:

A close-up of a gray cat with striking green eyes, resting against a soft surface and looking playfully at the camera.

The little dude has been here for me during a seriously weird and messed up time, once again reminding me how lucky I am to have him.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time.

    Buddy is a sweety.

He deserves to ” borrow” your chair occasionaly…. note I said occasionaly !

    Hugs to you both x

    1. Funny thing about that chair: if I don’t vacate it within about an hour after dinner, Bud yells at me and becomes very insistent that I should move. He clearly considers it his chair and I’m only allowed to borrow it!

Thank you for the kind words, Sue, I appreciate it.

  2. I feel ya . . . My Charlie keeps me sane, makes me laugh, and soothes my soul. Like big and little Bud, we’re lucky we found each other.

I hope life evens out — or at the very least, you get a break from the seriously weird!

  3. I think our pets help us get through tough times. They comfort us and are always by our side. I hope you can get through this situation with your Buddy by your side, he’ll always be there for you.

  4. What a wonderful tomling! I know Buddy isn’t a tom, but that’s a term I made up for male cats. According to some sources young cats and kitten were known as catlings during the Middle Ages.

    1. Tomling sounds good since he doesn’t know anything’s missing. He had the snip at right around 12 weeks on the let’s recommendation and barely slowed down even though I gave him pain meds.

Catling seems appropriate for the Middle Ages.

    1. It’s amazing how in tune they can be. I never would have imagined this before I adopted Bud. They can smell our pheromones, sure, but I think when you have a bond with a cat, they understand you on an intuitive level
