Buddy would like to wish all of PITB’s readers a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!
The Good Boy surprised me with a gift this year, which I unwrapped eagerly:
Buddy is such a good boy! And how thoughtful! He really is the best cat! Forget anything I ever said about him being annoying, picky or demanding.
He is a perfect little guy and any flaws I thought I saw in him were obviously my flaws projected onto him. I see that now. When he shrieks at me for breakfast while I’m asleep, the fault is mine for not anticipating his hunger and not getting up to feed him.
I mentioned how handsome and charming he is, right? Please don’t kill me!
I am very lucky to be Buddy’s human servant and vow to do a better job in all areas in 2022.

I got some work done outside yesterday before the weather hit. Today is 30 degrees and 1 1/2 inches of snow.

Chewy packages can never come quickly enough for our feline friends. If the yums fail to show up when expected, it’s time to go looking for them. Merry Christmas. John!

The merriest of Christmas to you both. 2021 has been a hard year for me, including the death of my husband, but for several years I have enjoyed your antics. Looking forward to your adventures in the new year!

I’m sorry to hear about your husband, Misty. I know this is a tough year to make it to family celebrations, what with the virus and all, but I hope you’re celebrating with family and friends. I’m glad Buddy’s antics have made you smile!

Hey Leah: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I did notice you’d stopped blogging and figured you were away or busy for the holidays. I’m sorry to hear you’ve been sick. I hope you’re past the worst of it and your cats are giving you some comfort. In my experience they do seem to be very attuned to how their humans are feeling. When I got really sick in 2018, Buddy didn’t leave my side for the better part of two weeks.
