This isn’t just a video of a cute cat eating corn.
It’s a video of a cute cat who gives a cry of joy when he sees his human plop corn a cob of corn onto his plate, then tears into it with such gusto that he half-purrs, half-growls as he devours his yums. Seriously, make sure you turn the volume on, it has to be heard to be believed:
The Corn Kid, famous for declaring “When I tried it with butter, everything changed…I can’t imagine a more beautiful thing!” might be given a run for his money by this cat.

In case you’re wondering, corn won’t kill your cat. In fact, as veterinarians point out, your cat probably eats corn regularly because pet food companies use the stuff as filler in cat food despite the fact that, as obligate carnivores, cats don’t really get any nutritional value by eating it. However, it’s not meat, so if your cat likes corn, you should give it to kitty only in moderation as too much can cause an upset stomach and digestive problems.
Pain In The Bud 
Both Bella and Bertie don’t like vegetables of any kind which is fine. They are definitely meat eaters, although Bertie did eat a bit of Vegan muffin last week. Bella prefers freshly killed mice as her “treat” We can definitely leave any veg in the kitchen with no problems at all from our feline overlords. I did serve a cat called Barnaby once who loved sweetcorn as well. I can’t see Buddy swapping Turkey Yumms for Sweetcorn anytime soon!

Bud won’t eat corn on the cob or sweet corn, but he’s liked popcorn since he was a kitten. I only give him the fluffy parts in tiny Buddy-size pieces.
He also seems to be fooled by Impossible burgers because he begs me for some and when I break off little pieces he will gobble it down. I’ve wondered if he’ll eat Quorn vegan “chicken” which is the closest I’ve tasted to the real thing, but in addition to vegetables they’re made with mycoprotein, which is probably not a good thing for cats to eat.
It fits perfectly with Bella’s personality that she won’t go near any kind of vegetable, but I wonder: Are you sure your cats aren’t sticking their faces in the vegetables when you’re not there to stop them? It’s a very cat thing to do: “Hmmm…I’m not interested in eating this, but lemme just stick my face in the human food and get my fur and scent all over it…”
